Rommelsbacher WK 1000 Travel Kettle

A compact travel companion for hot water on the go.

The WK 1000 is a double-walled travel kettle with a 0.6-litre capacity and 1000 W of power, designed for use on holiday, in a camper van, as a guest in a hotel, motel, or B&B, or in a small household. It heats water to 100 °C for tea, coffee, instant soups, or baby food.

Built for packing light.

At just 710 g, the WK 1000 is built around portability. The handle is fold-away, the power cord winds back into the base unit via an integrated cable reel, and a carry bag is included for luggage storage. The compact dimensions (14 x 10.5 x 19.5 cm) keep it easy to pack away in your luggage.

Stainless steel interior, BPA-free.

The inner container and inside of the lid are made of stainless steel. The housing is BPA-free.

Simple, safe operation.

A single large on/off button with pilot lamp controls the kettle. The 360° central base allows comfortable placement for both left- and right-handed users. Safety features include a heat-insulated cool-touch housing, overheating protection, boil-dry protection, and automatic shut-off once the water reaches boiling temperature. The minimum fill level is 0.2 litres.

Easy to fill and clean.

The lid is removable and the filling opening is wide, making both filling and cleaning straightforward. The double-walled jug features an internal water level indicator. The heating element is sealed.

Suitable

Intended for household use and similar environments: small households, staff kitchens in offices and shops, agricultural holdings, and guest rooms in hotels, motels, and B&Bs. Not suitable for commercial use.

Cleaning

Clean the appliance after each use. Wipe the housing with a soft damp cloth (ideally a microfibre cloth) with a small amount of detergent. Never immerse the kettle, base unit, power cord, or plug in water, and do not clean under running water. Do not use a steam cleaner. Always unplug and allow the kettle to cool completely before cleaning. Descale regularly with a commercially available descaler, or when limescale deposits become visible.
