Rommelsbacher ST 710 Fun for 2 Sandwich Maker

The Rommelsbacher ST 710 is a compact sandwich maker for two sandwiches at a time. It heats up quickly, operates by simply plugging in, and produces toasted sandwiches in approximately 2 to 4 minutes depending on filling and desired browning level. Designed for household use and similar environments such as staff kitchens, offices, B&Bs, and small commercial kitchens, it is not intended for commercial use.

The toast plates are made of solid aluminium die-cast with a diagonal bar. They feature a two-layer Xylan Plus non-stick coating, which allows for low-fat toasting and makes the plates easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth after use. No metal utensils should be used on the plates, as this damages the coating and voids the warranty on the plates.

Two pilot lamps indicate the operating status: a red lamp confirms the unit is powered on and heating, and a green lamp signals that operating temperature has been reached. The green lamp is not a "ready" indicator for the sandwiches themselves, it only confirms the plates are up to temperature. The heat-insulated handle with locking mechanism allows the sandwich maker to be safely opened and closed during operation. Anti-slip feet keep the unit stable on the countertop.

The casing is made of matt synthetic material and brushed stainless steel. When not in use, the ST 710 can be stored upright or flat to save space. The appliance has a short, non-detachable power cord by design (to reduce tripping hazards); extension cords are not recommended. A thermal fuse provides non-resettable overheating protection.
