5 drying racks

The 5 drying racks allow you to dry several items at the same time or a larger quantity of one product. Change the order of the racks during drying for an optimal result.

Silicone drying mats

For making delicious fruit rolls or drying juicy fruit , silicone drying mats are available . The puree or juice cannot leak through the openings of the drying racks. The drying mats can be used multiple times.

Operation

The Dehydrator blows warm dry air from top to bottom along the drying racks. The duration of the drying process depends on what, how and where you dry it. In a humid space it takes longer than in a dry space. Also, the thinner the slices, the faster it dries.

Recipes

Fruit mix rolls

Supplies

• 840g canned mixed fruit, drained

Preparation

Place fruit in the bowl or cup of a food processor. Blend until smooth. Spread the puree evenly over the fruit roll sheets. Dry for 5-7 hours or until pliable. Roll up the slices.

Mango rolls

Supplies

• 800 g mango in juice, drained

Preparation

Place mango in the bowl or cup of a food processor. Blend until smooth. Spread the puree evenly over the
fruit roll sheets. Dry 5-7 hours or until pliable. Roll up the sheets.

Strawberry rolls

Supplies

• 500 g fresh strawberries, crowns removed, cut in half
• 2 jars of 140 g apple sauce
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Place the ingredients in the bowl or cup of a food processor. Blend until smooth. Spread the puree evenly over the
fruit roll sheets. Dry 5-7 hours or until pliable. Roll up the sheets.

Crostinis  

Supplies

• 1 Italian loaf (ciabatta) or baguette
• 2 fresh garlic cloves
• Dried rosemary
• Olive oil
• Coarse sea salt

Preparation

Cut the bread into 1 to 2 centimeter slices. Cut the garlic cloves in half and rub them over the slices of bread. If you don't have any garlic cloves at home, you can also sprinkle the bread evenly with garlic powder.

Chop the rosemary finely. Sprinkle a little olive oil, chopped rosemary and coarse sea salt over each slice of bread. Set the food dehydrator to 70 degrees and dry the crostini for 30 minutes.
